I love this background made with a layering stencil from TE. The color combination just said party and I am so pleased with the way that this turned out.

I just love this background and didn't want to hide it, so I made my tag from vellum. I am pleased with the way this card turned out.

My daughter was born on Christmas Day many years ago and we always tried to make sure that she had a "birthday" I never wanted her to feel that she didn't have a special day so we always had Christmas Dinner as her birthday. We used birthday plates and napkins and had gifts wrapped in birthday paper.
Now that she's an adult, I try to make her cards reflect her special day, not just Christmas. I loved the elegant look of these colors together.
The dies are from the Greetery, the paper and from Taylored Expressions and I'm not sure about the embossing folder. I've had it a long time and no name on it.

When I saw this sketch, I knew just what I wanted to do. Unfortunately I couldn't find my die, but my neighbor had one so the card was made. It turned out even better than I thought. Thanks for the great sketch.

This is a wedding card for my step granddaughter. I loved the simplicity of this design. I embossed the white panel with dotted swiss and the vellum panel with the diamond and dots folder. I lightly sponged the back of the vellum with gold ink. I hope she loves it.

I thought these colors would look great using this 3 layered stencil from TE. I love the fall look it gives, so I made it a Thanksgiving Card.

These colors are so rich that I played with many combinations and found this to be my favorite. The burgundy color is such a deep red that it really needed the cream background to do it justice. My papers are from Taylored Expressions and her colors have foodie names. These are Buttercream Frosting, Mulled Wine and Toffee. With colors like that it has to be good!

I really liked this sketch. I had so many ideas. I'm going to use it again. It worked out for this birthday card. I'm thinking I will keep some of these on hand for when I found out after the fact that someone had a birthday!

This card was made with the adorable pumpkin background by Taylored Expressions. I stamped it with white pigment ink on kraft cardstock. Then I stamped it again in orange on white. The set has faces and stems to be added along with die cuts to cut them out. I popped up one on a wobble so it moves. I added a bit of sparkle to the colored ones.

I had the background piece sitting on my desk and thought it would be great for this card. I made it using a layering stencil from Taylored Expressions. I simply matched the rest of the card with those colors and added some bling to finish.

I love to color with colored pencils on kraft paper. I did not set out to make a sympathy card, but when I finished, I felt the sentiment fit perfectly.

I knew what I wanted to do with this sketch and when "Noel" arrived in the mail, I did a quick change. I love the way this turned out. I received a heat foil press for my birthday and I just can't get over how that little touch of gold makes so much difference.

I've had the big balloon stencil sitting on my desk for quite a while and decided it could work well for this sketch. I love the way it turned out and can't wait to try it out again!

These colors are so striking. I wanted to make sure that each one had a place to shine. I love the way the fall branch turned out with both the red and orange leaves. I used eggplant for the purple as I think it is a royal color and it complimented the leaves.

This one took some time to design. I made it an A2 size and just wasn't sure what to do with it. I saw this background stamp from "The Greetery" which I had not yet inked up. I decided to try a rainbow look and doesn't it look festive? I tried many color combinations for the word "Happy" which is from The Stamps of Life. I finally decided to just ink up a piece of paper with the
same inks I had used on the background and it was perfect. I have lots of October birthdays, and I'm sure this will be on its way very shortly.

This is one of my all time Blueprints. It's number 31 and also makes a great shaker card. I have a gentleman in mind for this card so I kept it simple as he is not a "bling" kind of guy! The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday and I just couldn't resist.

I had just gotten this die cut from Poppy Stamps and was a little disappointed that it did not fill the front of the card and then I saw this sketch. It was perfect for this and I love the way that the die is the center of attention. I'm going to make a few more!

These colors are so rich together. I got out some of my new stamps from The Greetery. This set even came with the beautiful layered Autumn word.

I was thrilled with this sketch as it is one that I use many times both in card making and in scrapbooking. I have been waiting to use these images from TE for a Christmas card. The set comes with 4 corner stamps in different seasons. I colored with pencils and added red Stickles with a toothpick to fill in the dots. I love the way this turned out.
