MFT Color Challenge #83

I love to use the safety orange for stems and leaves. I think it gives a bit of a fall feeling to the card. The tropical teal and pure plum made wonderful flower colors and the latte brought it all together. I need to say hello to a friend who just found out that she has lung cancer.

WOW, it's hard to believe that this is the last sketch of the year. As I look back, I think I have grown by participating in the challenges and events this year. I have mixed stamp sets, tried new techniques, used color combinations that I never thought would work, and in general had a great year. Hope the next year brings new and exciting learning experiences.

I love this folder from TE and it fit the simplicity of the sketch.

I had a class on folding this tree last week and couldn't wait to try it. The color palate this week certainly lent itself to the folding. I chose a medium  gray with white back for my tree, so that the white was visible on the edges of the tree. I added it to a piece of the same tone of gray which had been embossed. Accents of gold really helped this card to shine. A simple word in black keeps the elegance of the colors.

Wrapping a handmade gift has always been a challenge. I needed a clever gift for my crafty friends and this die set from MFT just fit the bill. I love the way it turned out and since I need 30 of them, I'm hoping to finish by Christmas!
