These are such soft colors and so much fun to work with.

Another Valentine. I used a retired stamp from MFT which I have always loved for this time of the year.

I love this sketch and it is one that I have used many times. I stamped the background with swirl stamp in gray. I added flowers from the new MFT release.

This was a fun challenge. Cake is always in style and who doesn't love a good slice of cake? I chose "Piece of Cake" stamp set from MFT. It has so many good sayings besides birthday and I love the slice. It does contain candles if the occasion warrants.

I chose hexagons to go with the Bee theme. I just think they are so cute and will brighten anyone's day.

These colors were a challenge at first but then, as always, it came together.

This sketch is a perfect way to highlight my water color daisy.

The challenge this week was to emboss. I chose an embossing folder from Taylored Expressions called "Cherry Blossoms". I hope it lets everyone think Spring. I used a technique that I have not used in many years. I embossed and then colored the detail with chalks. I love the muted look that it gives. I'm not sure where I got the sentiment, but I thought it was appropriate with the Cherry Blossoms!

VLVDEC2017

I chose pastel colors for this sketch because I had already made 60 Christmas cards and was looking for a change. Once I began, the card took on a life of its own. I just played with colors and when I had it laid out, I began to think of a focal point. I love this 3 layer butterfly stamp from MFT and it fit with the pastels so well. I was pleased with the results as I hope all of you are.

I chose to leave my pieces as squares. I began with a background of Distressed Oxide inks. I stamped the flower images with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added a few highlights to the flower and leaves with copic markers. I cut my background into 1 inch squares and arranged them on black licorice cardstock. I placed this on a white card base and added my sentiment also heat embossed on black licorice cardstock.
