I love this sketch and settled on this design. I had a few others in mind, but I love the clean look of this one.

I really dug into the back of by stamp collection today. I used the plaid builder to create the background for my card using cherry crisp and dill pickle ink. Hmm maybe I was hungry at the time. I stamped my sentiment with cherry crisp hybrid ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I love the shiny look. As I look at these two together, I see that I chose to have my diagonal come from the opposite side as the sketch!

When I saw these colors, I knew just what I wanted to do with the pink and the peach, but wasn't sure about the red. As I was looking through my stamps I found this little ladybug and coordinating sentiment so the card was finished.

I love the way this turned out. I had intended to put more color in the leaves, but when I finished the gold along with the white embossing, I knew it needed nothing else!

I love these colors, crisp like fall air. I love the die cut frame and I colored the leaves with copic markers using red and orange with touches of green. A little bling in the sentiment with detail gold embossing powder.

I love the touches of gold on cream colored paper. Simple yet elegant.

Innovation Master

I chose a center step for my card. I used some "oldies but goodies" for this card as well. The challenge was in finding the right addition for the center as I chose to make it an A2 sized card. I love the way it turned out.

I am learning to love more white space as it really does draw the eye to the reason for the card.

I pulled out some of my favorite "oldies but goodies" for this card. I used a die cut Lily in white. I added copic color in shades of purple from light to pure plum. The leaves and stems were cut from green and I added 2 shades of green. I added these in a pleasing arrangement to a white rectangle and then matted with a pure plum rectangle. A simple pure plum "thanks" completes this card.

I pulled out one of my favorite kits ever for this card. The elegance of the butterflies makes any card a standout.

I chose some orange and blue glitter paper for my balloons and tied them up with a red bow. A sassy sentiment completes the card.

MFTWSC400

I'm so glad that I got home in time last night to finish my card for sketch number 400! I love the way it turned out and I am confident that the showers we are experiencing will make the path for beautiful flowers.
