I really love plaid. I have a plaid builder by MFT and this one by Concord & 9th. I have give them equal time. I used red and gold colors for the plaid on a green card. I love this look and although the stamping of the plaid pattern takes some time, I love the results.

When I saw the large image I immediately thought of the Beautiful Bloom. I stamped with Versamark ink onto a watercolor paper. I heat embossed with gold. Isn't that a beautiful flower? I stamped a piece of chocolate cardstock with the radiating dot stamp and white ink. A gold sparkle "thanks" completes the card.

The light was not good this morning as the Kraft envelope as well as the stamped wood paper don't look very brown! I had fun with this card, though and I'm sure it will be a hit with whomever receives it.

I love this sketch. It made the most perfect Christmas Card and I can make several quickly. The ornaments and sentiment are from MFT.

I was playing with this stamp last night trying to come up with a pleasing arrangement of the branch behind the word Grateful. I was pleasantly surprised this morning to see that I had matched the colors of the challenge. I used bronze ink for the rust and it looks great in the light. I added the yellow and brightened my orange Nuvo drops with a copic marker. I love the result.

I guess that I'm old enough to really appreciate the traditional colors of Christmas, but after seeing Stephanie's last video, I jumped out of my comfort zone and chose the aqua/ pink combination. This is one of my all time PI Christmas images and I make at least one card with her every year. I think my folds on her dress turned out very well this time. I do love my copics.

This card was born when my husband asked me if I had any "thank you" cards that he could send to a friend of his. As I looked through my stash, I realized that most all of them were geared toward women. I realized that the color challenge for this week would work wonderfully for this card. I used the "Happy Plaids" stamp from Concord & 9th. I stamped the horizontal textured stripes in MFT gumdrop green and the vertical ones with limeade green. I added the thin dark blues lines and a perfect plaid emerged. Hubby was really pleased with the results. I'm going to try some other colors so I will be ready for him next time that he asks!
