This is a Christmas Card for that special man in my life. It has been hard getting it finished as he has been here a lot! He likes cards that sparkle, so I tried to oblige but not make it too feminine. I really think this fills the bill. Stamps and dies are from MFT.

Last Gift Card Holder
This is the last of my 11 gift card holders. I really enjoyed making them and choosing a different theme for each recipient. Next year I will begin sooner, though!

Alice's Class
Aren't these some of the most beautiful and unique Christmas cards? My friend, Alice Hancock, teaches a class at Whim So Doodle in St. Petersburg once a month. I am never disappointed. They are all so unique, that it is hard to choose a favorite. The snowflake on the bottom one is removable and can be used as an ornament on the tree!

I usually follow the sketch just the way it is published, but tonight it just felt better when I rotated it. I love the shiny silver background which I embossed with this cool diagonal stripes embossing folder from Stampin Up. The sentiment is from MFT and embossed with candy cane embossing powder from SNS. The silver cord is from Theresa Collins. I think the card looks very Merry & Bright!

A birthday card for a male friend of mine. I used paper from Fancy Pants' "Happy-Go-Lucky" collection. This is my first time using this paper company and I really like the colors. The circles and flags were cut with Die-namics from MFT. I really hope he likes it.

This card is for my son's fiancé who's birthday was November 9. I used Fancy Pants "Happy go Lucky" collection for the paper. Stamps are from TE "In the Garden" which is the stamp of the month for November. I stamped the flowers, leaves and sentiment with Versa Mark ink and then embossed with the Cosmic line of embossing powders from SNS. The tag was cut using the new pierced tags from MFT. I hope this is a card she will like!

When I saw this week's sketch, I knew that I could use it to make a gift card holder. This is made with the "pop n cuts" basic card shape. With a little scoring and folding, it becomes a card holder. I need to make 9 for Christmas gifts, so I welcomed the idea for some new ones. Now I think I will look at some of the older square sketches for other ideas. I used Simple Stories "Handmade Holiday" collection from last year. The circles were cut with MFT pierced circles. The ornament was stamped with Versamark and embossed with SNS gold detail EP.
What do you think, gift for man or woman??

I think this doodlebug design "Halloween Parade" is one of the cutest collections of Halloween papers I have seen. The colors are bright but not gaudy. I think will be my last Halloween card this season and will be in the mail tomorrow. I used MFT pierced stax circles and squares and blueprints 1 for this card. The background was embossed with new Stampin Up embossing folder.

I love the Vintage Christmas from MME. The patterned paper really lent itself to this sketch. I used Blueprints 5 & 6, flower medley and leafy flourish die-namics. I used whipped cream felt and sponged the edges to give it the vintage look.

I needed a birthday card for a male friend who is a golfer. The stamp from Sparkle N Sprinkle fit perfectly and was colored with copics. I used border die from MFT as well as the pierced rectangle stax. The paper is from Webster's Pages. I think he liked it.

Here is another of my "thank you" cards. I have almost finished with them, but have enjoyed trying out different sketches. This was my first time coloring the chalkboard and since it turned out so well, my mind is racing with other ideas. I used the new pierced tags from MFT as backgrounds, the PI stamp from last month and papers from Webster's Pages "recorded" collection. Her dress was paper pieced with scraps from my stash.

I have so many blessings in my life recently, that I need many thank you cards. I loved this sketch for one of them. The sentiment is from MFT and the papers are Webster's pages "Recorded" collection. It has some fun papers but you know how I love dots, stripes and plaids, so this one was my first choice.

This card is for my daughter-in-law's birthday this week. I used the We R memory keepers chalkboard collection again. This color combination has become one of my favorites. I had to take a sample to Sparkle n Sprinkle to get a matching embossing powder, Arctic from the cosmic line. I also used the "Polka Dot" greetings stamp from MFT which comes with the coordinating die. The rest of the card was cut using the Blueprints 5 also from MFT. I hope she likes it!

Good morning! I am late getting this posted. We are doing some major remodeling and craft time has been hard to find. I did start early, but had a hard time getting finished to my liking. I love the background paper from We R memory keepers collection "Happy Campers". There are some very cute camping and travel selections but also plaids, dots, stripes, etc. I found the burlap in my stash which matched the blue just beautifully. The tag die-namics was perfect for the sentiment from MFT "Clearly Sentimental about Art". The circle was cut with my favorite pierced circle stax also from MFT. The wildflowers die is from TE. It made my heart happy when it all finally came together!

All of the lovely fall cards have inspired me, although here in FL the temps have been in the 90's. This lovely patterned paper is from We R memory keepers' "Happy Campers" collection. The wreath stamp is from TE. Felt, greeting stamp, and pierced rectangle die are all from MFT and the oval die is from spellbinders.

This month the challenge is:
Anything Goes with Glitter, Embossing Powder and/or Flocking
As you can tell from some of my prior posts, I love all of the above. I chose TE's Moka Tabitha for my focus this month. I colored her with copic markers. The striped paper is from the Doodlebug Design's Halloween parade collection. I just love the bright colors and tried to dress Tabitha accordingly! I stamped the greeting with Versa Mark and embossed with Ebony Sparkle EP. Her hat and skirt are highlighted with a royal purple glitter. The bats were punched with an old punch that I found in my collection (I have been cleaning out) and it has no identification.
Comments are always appreciated.

I am loving the simplicity of the MFT sketches. It gives me a chance to show off some of the beautiful patterned paper. This paper is from We R Memory Keepers Chalkboard collection. I love the positive thoughts on this particular paper. I used the MFT stamp "Take Note" lists and MFT Die-namics Peek a Boo chevrons and pierced circle stax.
Comments are welcome!

I just love this paper from We R memory keepers. It's called "Chalkboard" and has some really beautiful colors along with some chalkboard patterns. I used the mini royal rose dies from MFT along with some banana felt to make the roses. The leaves are Spellbinders and I accented them with some glitter from "Sparkle n Sprinkle". The lace ribbon is from SU and the circles are cut with the pierced circle stax from MFT.

I got to try out my new Die-namics Blue Prints on this card. I stamped Pure Innocence "Bear Hugs" with Memento ink. Her skirt and hair bow are paper pieced and the rest colored with copics. Doesn't the button look real? It is actually cut with another Die-namics die! I wanted to keep it flat enough to mail.

Cardinals
Don't you just love the plaid background? I made it with My Favorite Things plaid maker stamp set. You have got to see this! The image was stamped with a Northwoods stamp and colored with copic markers. The cardinals were embossed with sparkle embossing powder from Sparkle n Sprinkle. The beautiful background die was lent to me by a friend and is from Memory Box.

Well, I have finally cleared off my desk, got my computer up and running so I guess that's enough to get my mojo going! I chose a Halloween theme for today's card. The paper is the Bewitched line from We R Memory Keepers; the stamps from Close to My Heart and die cuts from My Favorite Things.

Stampaway USA, Joe Rotella's Class
I have had one of these stamps for a long time but never have really used it. I wasn't sure how to use it and this class gave me so much inspiration. The only ways that I had seen before this was to color all of the intricate parts of the design. I wasn't sure I could do it justice. In this class we used dry embossing, mica powders, alcohol inks, and to use the animal feet as a border. I loved all of them! Which is your favorite?
