It has been quite some time since I have posted. I have made many Christmas Cards and finally finished mailing them. I wanted to do something different so a get well card was the choice. I love the blue/green combination. Hope it is cheery enough for get well wishes!

I really thought that I was finished with Christmas Cards, but found this Basic Grey paper called Evergreen and realized I had not used it on cards this year, so one more was born. After placing the beautiful paper, I did not want to cover it up. What to do? As I have been organizing since our move to FL earlier this year, I found the SU gold printed vellum, and the bling was added. I embossed the greeting with powder from SNS. I love the elegance of the card.

I chose these colors because they are the color challenge at MFT for this month. I received some new things from MFT today and couldn't wait to use them. I really love the "Blueprints". Stamped the background with a stamp from a few months ago.

I really dislike needing sympathy cards, but I know that letting someone know I am thinking of them hopefully will add a bright spot to their day. I have had this sentiment from Sparkle n Sprinkle for a number of years and I am happy to be able to put it in the spotlight with this sketch. I used the fishnet background from MFT along with a die cut stamped with a stamp from them as well. I have had the butterfly die cut for a long time and I am not sure where it comes from. I used a Wink of Stella to add a little shine and some CTMH sparkles.

I needed a masculine card for one of the golfers and this sketch fit the bill. I just love the plaid builder and think I am getting better at using it. The burlap background stamp is the perfect compliment. I used Nightshift blue,Kraft and Jellybean green for my color palate on Primitive cream cardstock. I think it is a keeper!

I stamped the background in versamark and embossed with sparkle embossing powder. Then I cut into strips and mounted onto dark paper. The button is actually a MFT die-namics. I finished the top with some crocheted lace and purple bling!

I love the angle of the paper and was so excited when MFT came out with Die-namics to make the design easier. I have a friend who just underwent some serious surgery and I am hoping this will cheer her up. I used patterned paper from MME, but all the rest is from MFT.
