Mojo 285

This is my take on this week's Mojo sketch. I have to admit, it has a lot more layers than I usually put on a card, but my purpose in participating in Mojo is to get me outside the box.

 

Here is a close up of the flowers. This is the new TE flower stamp. I loved coloring it with Copics. I fancy cut it out and used the inverted scalloped circle nestibilities and the regular circle nestibilities to create the background.

 

This is for my sister-in-law's birthday and I hope she likes it.

I saw this sketch and decided to give a square card another try. I had been on a "Scrapbook Treasure Hunt" in the Tampa Bay Area and picked up the paper and needed to give it a try.
The paper is from Fancypants and is called Park Bench. The glitter and embossing powder are from Sparkle n Sprinkle and I used MFT dies Dizzy Duo, Ticket Tag and Fishtail Flags. The sentiment is a Pure Innocence from MFT as well.

TE Kit

As if 3 days of cardmaking wasn't enough for me, when I got home from the retreat my TE card kit was waiting. I loved all the b & w print paper and the beautiful cardstock colors to compliment it. The flower die is from the Feb release as well.

 I was delaying creating this card as I just couldn't come up with any ideas and then my monthly kit arrived from TE. The included 6 x 6 paper was "Meadowlark" from MME. I love all the black & white prints and the kit included some beautiful Bazzil cardstock to complement it. The flower die is a new one from TE. My sentiment is from Verve who always had the right thing to say!

I needed a birthday card for my youngest son so I turned the sketch and this is what I came up with. I didn't want too many layers because it was travelling by snail mail and I was trying to keep the cost down!
