These are some of my favorite colors together. I chose the kalidescope hexagons from Spellbinders and used each of the three colors, stacking them in different order. I love the depth these dies give. A touch of gold for a little sparkle was added.
I wasn't sure how I would like these colors together, but I do love this result. I used 1/2 inch strips of each color and after arranging them on hte panel, I stamped a woodgrain background with white pigment ink. I just love the distressed look this makes. All of the products used are from Taylored Expressions.
When I saw these colors, I immediately thought of a manly card. The background is a quad stencil from Taylored Expressions and the Beer Mug die is from MFT. I'm so happy with the way this turned out. I'm thinking of Son's birthday coming soon.
I love these spring colors and thought they blended very well. I used a "Creating in Quads" layering stencil from My Favorite Things. A lot of my crafty friends have gone north and I'm missing them so much already. Thought these cards would be a good way to let them know.
Folks have asked how I can create in a small space. This is my corner at present. I'm looking to change the look very soon. Storage is under the desk and along any available wall! LOL
I didn't want to make another Valentine, so I pulled out my abstract stencils from Taylored Expressions. I love the shapes that can be mixed and matched. I chose 2 shapes and just stacked them. I added interest with copper ink and some abstract shapes. The sparkle is subtle and I love the overall appearance.
I needed a quick birthday card and when I saw this sketch, this card popped into my head. I kept the color to a minium and used a kraft background so it could be for a guy. You seem to know when I'm stuck for an idea and always come through!
