I puzzled about the corners for a few days and then decided on some fancy ones. I chose a blue and silver palate and I love the way it turned out. I used a silver gray cardstock to which I added a tone on tone background for the middle strip. Two shades of blue and a silver embossed sentiment finished the card. I chose the Verve sentiment "Everything is going to be OK". I have a few friends facing tough situations and I think this sentiment is most fitting.

I am loving the new paper pads. They make such a great starting point for any card. With the available color match printables, the cards are much easier to coordinate. I love these little birds and think the messages included in the set are grand. I'm needing several birthday cards next month so I thought I would get a head start.

I looked at this sketch for the whole week before it coming together. I needed a "Thank You" card for a friend, but nothing I had seemed appropriate. Some new goodies from MFT arrived and the "Because" set had just what I needed. I wrote a message on the inside. Have not heard yet how she liked it!

How Old?

I just had to share this card. It turned out better than I imagined. It was made for Ron's older brother who plays softball on an over 65 league. Being from Cincinnati, the colors had to be red. Hope he likes it.

I love the warm tone of the Biscotti card stock. The colors are from the first card kit and the sentiment is one of the "essential sentiments".

I missed a whole week of making cards. You know how hectic life can get sometimes. I got a new computer and I'm having a hard time getting it set up. I'm sure I'll love it when it's finished! Yesterday I was feeling a little down and realized that I needed to create so here we go. I have lots of pieces sitting on my desk from where I tried a number of ideas, but finally this came together and I really love how it turned out.
