I couldn't decide between sunglasses and the floaties. You see where I ended up! I just love this Flamingo Floatie. There are others in the set, but this is my favorite. I liked the sketch a lot and gave me a chance to highlight the star of the show!

I'm really loving this card. I wasn't sure how to use these colors and then I remembered this die cut. I believe it is from MFT. It came out at Christmas time one year as I have a stamp with Christmas greetings. I thought it would be a really great birthday card with the bright colors. I think I was correct!!

 

MFT Color Challenge 167

These colors just said beach to me and the Beach Scene Die-namics was the perfect beginning. I hadn't used it in quite awhile, but this time it did the job. I cut the pieces from the challenge colors and then added highlights with colored pencils. The sand detail was created with some dots of kraft ink . I also used mini cloud and wave stencils.

I love these colors and had so many ideas that I was slow to getting started. I'm pleased with the way that this turned out. My stock of Birthday cards is finally catching up to the need!!
