When I saw this sketch, I first thought climbing flowers and then this popped into my head. I used seaweed for the left bar and bubbles for the right one. All products from Taylored Expressions.

I wanted to show off the delicate wreath and thought a highlight of white ink would do it. I was not disappointed although it was more work than I had anticipated. I love the way it turned out and I have a friend with a birthday this month. I think she will like it as well.

I love this color combination. I had several ideas, but this one ended up being my favorite. The wreath is actually a layered stencil from Pink Fresh Studio. Isn't it stunning? The blue background really makes the wreath stand out. I added a little gold sparkle to the center of the flowers.

I found this DSP in my stash. It is double sided, so worked well for this card. I chose it because of the plaid-one of my favorite patterns. The other papers are from Taylored Expressions and I just love the way that it coordinates. The sentiment is also from TE. I used a strip of paper for the ribbon and ran it through an embossing folder. Don't you just love the texture that this adds! Looking forward to the next one. 

 

MFT Slimline Challenge

 This month's challenge is "Inside Out" so I decided to do a trifold card. I like the mini slim size so my card measures 6"x 3 1/2" when closed. I used these adorable cats and a sentiment from the set. I just love the way it turned out and may try another one soon. It gave me a chance to use lots of the little stamps.

When I saw this sketch I knew immediately that I wanted to make a window card. It has been a  long time since I have made one and never had I done it with a curve. I will admit that it was somewhat challenging but worth the effort. Paper and acetate are from Taylored Expressions, stamps from Hero Arts and pearl "bubbles" are from The Stamps of Life. I love how this came together and may try another one soon but with straight edges!!

This card became a designer's choice!!

I was thrilled to be chosen as a featured stamper on Color Throwdown. These colors really spoke to me. All of my items except the cardstock and sentiment are from the Greetery. I love the new wildflowers and the bow. I stamped my flowers in various shades of pink and yellow. I added details on the flowers with copic markers. The Bow has a second layer stamp which adds the detail. My papers and sentiment are from Taylored Expressions. Hope you like it!

I chose to make a birthday for my adult grandson.  I used tropical teal for the card base and included a strip of the same to coordinate. I like this sketch and think it would make a great Thank You card as well.

I tried a new to me technique, embossing with a stencil. After embossing, I inked over it and I think the result is stunning. The sentiment is from a TE set called "C'mon get happy". That's how this card makes me feel. All other supplies are from Taylored Expressions as well.

I must admit these colors really said Valentine to me, but I resisted and pondered and here is what I came up with. I began with a light pink, then went to the dark pink. For the center, I used the dark and stamped off one time. I love the Ombre look.
