I love this sketch because I love my candles die set and stamps. I do need a lot of birthday cards in the next few weeks, but I wanted something different. I haven't used these flowers since I first got them, so this was my choice. I hadn't done much ink blending either in quite some time and discovered that the pads which I swo carefully stored with my mini distress inks didn't stand the test of time and crumbled in my hand. Nonetheless, I persevered and this beautiful card was born. The unevenness of the inks kind of says a lot about the feelings around being home against my will. It will be appreciated, I am sure.
