I remember snowy days as gray ones in Cincinnati, but the snow glistened as it fell and we played in it. I tried to recapture this by stamping the sky with white pigment ink, using some of the abstract art dots, and sprinkling on some glitter. I like the result!

MFTWSC371
I made some backgrounds using oxide inks on photo paper. I liked the subtle colors so I chose one for this card. That was my inspiration for the colors of the coffee cups.

MFT Color 86
I have been loving this bear lately. I used the blue for the sky, using the small cloud stencil, green for the grass, using the hills stencil and the pink and orange for the balloons. I stamped the balloons from the Totally Happy stamp set with white pigment ink for a little depth. The bear was accented with Copics.

Tim's Birthday
I got a new Silhouette Portrait for Christmas and I am loving it. This card is for my son who loves rock bands. When I saw this graphic, I thought it would be perfect. Now that it is finished, I'm sure of it!

SIP135_MFTWSC370
This is my entry for both MFT and SIP.
My cousin's birthday is on Valentine's Day, and since he is a guy, I try to make it simple but elegant. I thought the MFT sketch just fit that bill. I used the "lace" background stamp with cranberry ink, cut the heart from the middle with the die and mounted it on the same cranberry paper. Will add birthday greeting on the inside.
