I loved this sketch. I was able to use MFT Blueprints 

for some of the shapes, some new Stampin' Up papers 

and a greeting from Verve which I won 

a number of years ago. It has lots of words 

and phrases which can be combined to make 

customized greetings like this one.

I got some new SU papers and decided 

to give them a try. I love the color combination. 

The Rasberry color is from MFT as are all the die cuts.

 I think it is a happy card.

Yes, another touch of copper! I also tried out my

 new background stamp. Love the combination and it 

really enhances the flower on the tag.

I love the copper color along with shades of teal. 

What a treat to find that I not only had copper embossing 

powder, but also copper ink. 

MFT Color Challenge 60

I tried to channel a former DT, Jackie Pedro, in using background

 stamps in the same color as the cardstock for interest. I stamped a 

piece of cardstock with words about art and a favorite background

 stamp on the teal. I used matching colors for all. 

I love the subtlety of the look.

I began with a monochromatic color scheme with the black and silver but felt I needed a pop of color. I selected several colors and let hubby choose. I think he did a great job! 

Birthday Card

It seems like a very long time since I have made a card to post. In fact, I think the last time I did it was last year! My cousin's birthday it tomorrow, so this is in the mail. I love the way it turned out and I really think it suits her.
