I love the simplicity of this sketch. I plan to use it again. I have been missing some of my friends since I have been in Cincinnati, so I thought I would make some cards to let them know.

We have been so busy getting our house ready for sale, that this card was late for our anniversary, but hubby more than understood. I have not had big blocks of time for crafting, so I do it in little bits. I thought this sketch lent itself to a card for a man with the simple lines. He didn't even mind the razzleberry accents since I made them glitter with a Wink of Stella. Grout gray and Sno Cone are great colors together and the fishtail flag had the edges just inked. The sentiment was embossed with Vanilla Ice embossing powder from Sparkle and Sprinkle.

My great granddaughter turned 8 and her party was this past Saturday. The PI ladies remind me so much of her and they have graced her cards for the past 4 years. I think the nicest thing she said to everyone at the party as she showed them the card, was "my grandma makes the best cards". I just had to show it here! All the products are from MFT including the sequins which are actually a die cut!

I am really liking these "tall & skinny" cards. I started out to make a birthday card for my ggrandaughter but she is only 8 so probably too "grown up" for her but I love the way it turned out, so I am sharing.
