I have been admiring the cards which have the offset layer. This is my first attempt and really just came together as I played. Easter card for my "peeps".

I almost forgot about this week's sketch! I love the way the card turned out. I used Nightshift blue, Wild Cherry and Smooth white cardstock along with a piece of silver sparkle paper from a company called POW. It is much thinner and cuts with the die cuts. Pierced oval, Blueprints 1, 4 and 13 along with scattered stars and sentiment strips die-namics were used for the shapes. The sentiment, from PI was stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using Sparkle n Sprinkle white detail embossing powder.

VLV week 2
I have been waiting for a chance to use this stamp and the week 2 sketch for March fit the bill. I have added some sparkle to the wine. I have fallen in love with the "swish" look and have done it a number of times lately. I'm thinking Christmas colors next! LOL.

I love the way this card turned out. I must admit I had a hard time getting inspired for some reason. I began looking through my stamps and found a couple of these large greetings and knew this was the way to use them. I made the background by using distress stains right from the bottle and stroked them across the paper in a plaid fashion. I cut the fishnet out of shimmer paper. I mounted all of that on Sour Apple cardstock and finished with some enamel dots.

I have been inspired this week since I am feeling better, but not full of stamina yet, so taking time to make cards has kept me occupied. Once again using the color challenge from MFT for the month, I used a stencil to add grain lines to my kraft background. I stamped some text on the paper before cutting out the flower. I love the interest that this added. Pearls were added to the doily, flower, and colored bands. Thanks to Debbie for a great sketch.

I love the colors for the March challenge and I incorporated them into this weeks sketch. I used MFT grapesicle card stock and stamped the lines in the same color ink. The flower die cut is an old one from TE. I cut it twice using sour apple for the stems and berylicious for the flowers. The circle is cut from kraft and I was lucky enough to find the ribbon in my stash which is the exqact color of the sour apple cardstock. My 94 yr old aunt is in the hospital and I am hoping this will cheer her up.

This card was made for my sister. I have not seen her in awhile and I hope that she knows how much I love her when she sees this card. The sentiment is from Verve and is heat embossed with Sparkle n Sprinkle embossing powder. The flower and leaves are dies from MFT.

I love the simplicity of this sketch and chose to use just the branch from the framed lovebirds. I think this would work for any type of card.
