This card may become a Valentine. MFT has issued a color challenge for the month of January. It is pink, black and white. I think this will fit both challenges!

I have found that I need a stash of birthday and sympathy cards, so that is what I plan to do. I did read a blog that said the person was going to try to make 1 Christmas card per week so she would be ready in December. If I make 3 per month, I would have enough so don't be surprised to see Christmas cards in the summer!

I love this new die and when it arrived, I just had to use it. I didn't want to take away from the rose, so I got out the Jumbo Abstract Art stamp and used it for the horizontal lines. After seeing the results, I'm sure it will show up on a lot of my cards from now on. I heat embossed the sentiment with powder from Sparkle n Sprinkle.

This sketch was an inspiration for this card. I have so many friends right now going through such hard times that it is not always easy to know what to say. I hope this one will help lift some spirits.

We were invited to two special gatherings during the holidays and so I wanted special cards to thank the hosts. I purchased some stamp sets at the end of the year sale and this one caught my eye since I had purchased the wine glass during last month's release. I rotated the sketch to accommodate the glass. I used MFT cardstock (I am in love with this product), DC Large Scale Background & DC Let's Toast stamps, Champagne Glass & Stitched Circle Die-namics. The text was heat embossed with detail gold embossing powder from Sparkle n Sprinkle.

We were invited to two special gatherings during the holidays and I wanted a special "thank you" card for each of them. This one was made using MFT stamps, dies and cardstock.
