I didn't realize how long it had been since my last post. Where does the time go? I really love this sketch--thank you Carole. My paper is from Simple Stories. The border is a Taylored Expressions die and the buttons are from My Favorite Things. I find that I am using the buttons more often as I can mail the card for the regular price! Comments are welcome and appreciated.

This card was actually made for someone who's birthday was earlier in the month. I've gotten behind in my card making! The stamp is from Taylored Expressions and they have several for late birthday greetings. The paper is from the November KI Kit-Bazil cardstock and Jillibean soup paper. She was colored with copics and her dress was paper pieced. Hope the recipient likes it!

I love the simplicity of this card. I finished it in time but did not get it up here on the blog. Things have been really crazy, but I have been doing creative things!

I used one of the sentiments from the Sympathy collection and a flower spray from the individual stamps. The are colored with copics and glittered with sparkling snow. The flowers are cut from white felt and the edges sponged with Memento ink. I used brushable glue on the edges of the petals and sparkling snow glitter. The leaves were cut with the spellbinders rose collection. The edges were glittered with pistachio.

I liked the way this one turned out and I was able to use a different shape than a circle--a first for me!

I had 2 birthdays this week for 2 special ladies. For this one, I rotated the sketch and used one of the Nestabilities flip and fold dies layered on a label die. It is for my daughter-in-law, Liz.

Moving from Cincinnati to FL for the winter, was a bigger job than I thought it would be. I still do not have my craft area arranged, but it is getting there. My Sept TE kit came the day after I arrived and so I felt compelled to create!

I really loved this design. I needed a sympathy card for a man and I think the simplicity of this design is perfect. I love the Verve Round sentiments. Hope there are more in the future!

This card is for a friend who had a 2nd knee replacement and is not recovering as quickly as she did with the first one! I used TE July card kit. The patterned paper is from Cosmo Cricket, Cardstock from Bazzel, Spellbinders and TE dies and MFT sentiment. I love the organza ribbon and hope the card cheers her up. Thanks for stopping.

This is Sparkle & Sprinkle's August sketch. The paper is from Gina K. The Drink stamp is from S&S and was colored with copics. The sentiment is one I got at the StampawayUSA convention this month in Cincinnati. It is from toomuchfun rubber stamps and I just couldn't resist!

Wedding Card

Two special people in my life were married recently and I made this card for both of them.

First Try

I thought that I should try my hand at creating a space to show my creative side. With quilting, scrapbooking and card making, I should be able to get a few pictures up here. I have been giving a try at some of the sketches and maybe it is time to enter one in a contest.
