CTD #827

It's been awhile since I have made any cards. The Hurricanes totaled our house and most of my craft things. It's been a journey getting back to any kind of schedule. This is my contribution for this week's challenge.

These colors definitely had me thinking Christmas. This kit came from TE last week and I couldn't wait to ink it up. I just love the results with the cable stitch embossing in the background. I think the Christmas card making is underway!

This beautiful die is part of a kit from My Favorite Things. I thought it would be beautiful in these colors and I was not disappointed. I ink blended the cardstock with the two colors in a diagonal direction in order so get some of each color on each butterfly.

Freshly Made 643

I had this cute bee stamp from Taylored Expressions and thought i would be perfect for this sketch. It's been a long time since I've done one of these sketches and thought it might get my Mojo back if I made it a point to get back into the weekly groove.

I love this postage stamp set from Waffle Flower. The Red & Blue colors are fitting on this one. I think it is a great card just to say "hello".

Color Throwdown 799

My first time posting in a very long time. I love these colors together and thought I would make a card for a friend who's going through some heath problems. All paper is from Taylored Expressions and the sentiment is from Poppy Stamps, I think.

Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted anything since October. Life has been different. Hubby had surgery to put in an access port for dialysis. He began that 4 weeks later. It has been very hard on him but he is finally adjusting. I have had some serious shoulder problems along with blood clots for which I was hospitalized. After therapy didn't help, I began acupuncture. It has finally begun to relieve some pain and I have been able to sit for longer periods of time. I will post some cards that I have made soon.
