I love the way this card turned out. The "Tropical Flowers" set is one that I love to stamp many times on watercolor paper. When I have time, I can sit and try different color combinations. I always have them in my crop bag so that if I finish a project early, I still have something to keep my hands busy. Thanks for the great sketch.
This card turned out so cute! I chose the colors to go with the layout and was deciding what to put on the focal piece. I asked my husband for a suggestion-flowers, butterflies? He thought the card colors were too masculine for either of those, so I began pulling out some other stamps and when he saw this sentiment, he immediately chose that. I don't think he was too sure about a cow on a card, but when he saw the finished card he loved it!

One of our dear neighbors are leaving for the final time and parting will be bittersweet, They have been here a long time, but his health is slipping rapidly and she doesn't feel she can care for him much longer so they have gone north to be near family. I loved all of the layers on this card and chose to keep it neutral. I water colored the butterfly and I think the neutrals really make it stand out.

I made this card for a special friend's birthday. I love the brushed silver paper. It gives shine but in an elegant way. I live relatively close to "Sparkle n Sprinkle" here in Ruskin, and they make glitter and embossing powder. In fact, I have taken a piece of paper up there and they were able to make some embossing powder to match it. The silver embossing powder on the butterfly is called "Silver Lightening" and it has silver glitter in it. It really sparkles in the light!
