MFTWSC325

I did't have a speech bubble and it stumped me for awhile, but as I changed my design about 10 times, I came up with the flowers in a frame and the natural addition was a beautiful butterfly from last month's kit!

I am loving this black and white paper pad from MFT. Many different geometric prints along with stripes and dots. It goes with everything!

Once again, this flower was on that I had colored sometime ago. I stamped it in silver Delicata ink and colored with Zig markers and a water brush. I carried the silver theme through using the gray chevron background paper along with a silver accent tag and silver embossing on the sentiment.

MFT Color Challenge 65

I wondered how I would mix these colors. I was putting my card kit from last month, when this butterfly slipped out of the bag. I couldn't believe that it was the proper colors! I embossed a piece of white cardstock with the Wavy Coloring Book background. I used Blue Yonder and Cornflower to color the background and then wiped with a tissue so that the embossing would show through. I used white Nuvo Drops and colored with the cornflower matching copic marker.

I love this sketch. I got to use my new blueprints, paper from the last month's release and do a little search to find just the right sized balloons. These came from the "Happy Pandas" set which I plan to use with some of the items from this month's release. (I had forgotten that I had them).

I love the sketch for this week. Julee was kind enough to provide some awesome sentiments as digital files for St. Patrick's Day and I thought they fit very well with the sketch. I have lots of friends who get these cards so I always appreciate new ideas. I chose the colors of the Ireland flag for this one!

MFTWSC322

This card took quite awhile to come together. I was blessed to be at a card making retreat last week with some very talented ladies 7 of us taught a class and new techniques were learned. I had stamped these flowers some time ago and never got them colored. I took the opportunity to do so and was able to  pull this together. I am loving the way it turned out and the vibrant colors. I stamped with silver Delicata ink and it really gives a nice shine in the light.

I love using a coordinating pack of paper when a card calls for many layers. I know that the layers will always match! I really love the way this one turned out and I am sending it to my sister for her birthday.
