I have been wanting to try watercolor with the "funky flowers" ever since they arrived. I used my Zig markers on water color paper and I really love the result. I first stamped them with Delicata gold ink and let it dry completely and then colored. I cut out and added to my gravel gray and gold papers. I used the distressed patterns for my spattered look and a little tag with sentiment. I love the result!

Since it is so hot right now, this MFT stamp set jumped out at me. I was thinking a manly card so I kept the colors neutral but did add some wink of stella to the ice cream and some liquid glass to the chocolate coating. Some sprinkles on the greeting completes the card.

I love the Butterflies & Swirls embossing folder and use it whenever I get the chance. I embossed a piece of light pink cardstock and then with a flat dauber, I lightly went over the raised part with a darker pink ink. I love how it makes the design stand out. Keeping the rest of the card simple, I added a strip of light gray paper, Twiggy branch leaves and the large flower from "Make it Memorable" which I stamped with Versa Mark and then heat embossed with white detail embossing powder.

After I finished my focal piece, I felt that turning it gave more impact. I pulled out my lace background stamp and inked it with gravel gray ink. I added a strip of black & white printed paper, a piece of silver paper made the square and flowers from "pretty posies" completed the look. A card fit for most any occasion.

MFT color 46

I love the way this turned out. At first I tried using a Kraft card base but it was too dark. In the Buff worked out just perfectly and I really love the Kraft accents.

Birthday Card #3. I paper pieced her dress. I love that look and the simplicity of the PI collection really allows for personal creativity.

Second Birthday card is finished. Only 3 more to go! May and June are busy months. I think our 4 year old great grandson will like this one.
